Chief Geologist
- Leader of the geology team
- Manage / Lead Mono or Pluri-disciplinary projects
- Make the synthesis of the geological data and interpretation
- Guarantee the quality of prospect and field evaluations using the most appropriate studies and geological models
- Responsible for the definition and quality of geological data acquisition (mud-logging, coring, wire-line logging, …)
- Put forward a judgement as regard to the assessment of uncertainties and risks related to geological techniques
- Validate data used as input for interpretation studies
- Define and validate the objectives of a study
- Define and Validate the human and material means required to accomplish this
- Guarantee the quality of geo-petroleum evaluation of permit or field
- Draw-up and Suggest technical exploration programs that reduce risks and to highlight the estimated resources
- Ensure the distribution of Techniques
- Maintain and Guarantee the quality of regional knowledge (Knowledge management)
- Take part in delineation or development scheme programmes
- Ensure and Guarantee costs, deadlines and objectives
- Act as representative the Geology discipline vis-à-vis partners and government authorities
- Coordinate geological information and reporting related to the permitting process
- Participate / Guarantee efficient communication with the Company Headquarters for dedicated studies and reporting

- Full expertise of relations with Kazakh Authorities
- Full expertise in the techniques and tools used in geological interpretation
- Full expertise in the geology of the pre-caspian basin in Kazakhstan (in particular in carbonate platforms)
- Knowledge of geological models
- Knowledge of geological techniques and tools used in the discipline
- Knowledge of geophysical techniques and tools
