Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum of seven years discipline experience, preferably in onshore and offshore oil and gas project detailed design phase, delivery and operation; including all aspects of electrical engineering ( hazardous area identification, earthing calculations, short circuit calculations and stability, transient start-up, electric power generation/transmission systems etc.
• Experience in design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent HSE requirements.
• Experience of working on Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area projects would be an advantage.
• A previous similar company role and interfacing with a major design contractor, and within a senior engineer environment.
